The second round on the track at Laguna Seca was bitter of satisfaction for Team Iodaracing’s riders. Both Alex De Angelis and Lorenzo Salvadori did not finish the race, respectively, due to a technical problem and a fall.

Alex De Angelis, back from a crash in FP3 which had resulted in extensive damage to his Aprilia RSV4RF, was deployed for the second race at Laguna Seca thanks to the work of Iodaracing technicians who have changed the frame of his bike before the starting grid . De Angelis, however, after a few laps went straight to Laguna Seca curve number two for a malfunction of the front brake that has not allowed him to resume the race.

Different fate in Race 2 for Lorenzo Savadori. The Iodaracing Team rookie crashed a few laps of the race restarted stop following the fall of Szkopeck. Savadori, who had got away well at the start of the second start, was in fifth place behind Nicky Hayden, when he slipped.

After the round at Laguna Seca, the Iodaracing pilots, Lorenzo Savadori and Alex De Angelis, are in ninth place respectively with 110 points and in sixteenth position with 56 points. The next races of the World Superbike World Championship will be held on the track EuroSpeedway Lausitzring next 17 and 18 September.
