Meet the quiet British racer who prefers to let his results do the talking…
The Isle of Man TT 2016 was a memorable event for all the right reasons. Spectators in their thousands enjoyed sunshine, pure road racing at its finest and, especially for BMW Motorrad fans, top racers winning in record time and pace on their BMW S 1000 RRs. One of those winners was the quiet man, Ian Hutchinson.

Ian Hutchinson is no stranger to racing fame. At the age of 36, the man nicknamed the ‘Bingley Bullet’ has enjoyed the success of winning 14 Isle of Man TT trophies.

There are also the prestigious road race successes such as the Ulster and Macau Grand Prix. And then there is the ‘other’ job of short circuit racing, this year with Tyco BMW Motorrad. Needless to say, ‘Hutchy’ has proven to be just as successful on the racetrack as on the roads.

Maybe now you can understand why this softly spoken man from the north of England is seen by many in the UK as a true racing hero. A man who likes to win…
