Moto 1

In Moto 1, Ryan Dungey got off to a decent start aboard his KTM 450 SX-F FACTORY EDITION, where he tucked into the 3rd place position behind Jason Anderson on lap one. By lap three Dungey had made his way around Anderson for 2nd, where he went to work on catching Ken Roczen for the lead position. Dungey maintained his position for the remainder of the race, where he finished 2nd.

Marvin Musquin didn’t get off to a great start, but the Frenchman immediately began pushing hard on the opening lap. However, Musquin mistakenly went off the track and became entangled in a banner, thus losing substantial time. After remounting, Musquin would crash again, causing him to ultimately 37th in Moto 1.

Moto 2

In Moto 2, Dungey grabbed another good start and made his way into the lead battle on the opening lap. While making an attempt to pass into the lead, Dungey got caught in a rut and went down, sending him all the way back to 19th place heading into lap two.

Dungey quickly recollected himself and made a charge toward the front, catching his teammate Musquin in the 7th place position by lap five. From there, the Red Bull KTM Factory Racing duo pushed their way into the top five, where Dungey ultimately finished 4th and Musquin in 5th.
